This listing includes a mahogany daxophone with custom soundboard, 3 tongues chosen to your requested sound pallette, and a bocote dax.

Meet the desktop daxophone. More simply constructed than the daxophone tripod, it is both more portable and less expensive, and has a shorter build time.

For this daxophone model you will need 1-2 small clamps to clamp it to a tabletop edge. This daxophone maintains a similar playing angle as the tabletop tripod, and also features a separate tongue clamp for quick swaps.

For smaller budgets, and if you want something that is a bit easier to transport and quick to setup, this might be the daxophone for you.

This daxophone is my own design, but based on the sketches of early daxophones provided by Hans Reichel in his daxophone info PDF.

Each daxophone I create is somewhat unique--it may differ in appearance slightly from the photos.
